If you have any interest in competing and going for the Gold and the other contest prizes being offered at the convention – once again DO NOT DELAY –
the deadline for entering the contests at Norfolk is May 30 ! In addition to the Gold Medal and Gold Cups and the $5000 cash prize that goes with them
there is $5500 in other cash prizes available to both adult stage and close-up winners. Thanks to additional cash donations from the I.B.M.
Endowment and Development Fund there is $1,500 in prizes in the Youth stage and close-up contests. That’s a total of $17,000 that is up for the taking at the I.B.M Convention this July! There is also a special Karrell Fox Comedy Award. This is also YOUR opportunity to work with our contest
directors, Oscar and Melody Mũnoz, both of whom have extensive theatrical backgrounds.
For the USA youth contestants, there is the chance to win the fabulous FANTASMA Youth Prize Package, which consist of round trip airfare for two to
either Las Vegas or New York City and hotel accommodations for two nights – all the FANTASMA magic you can carry – lunch with a famous magician – magic show tickets – and an opportunity to perform on stage or close-up – and special meetings with celebrity magicians to discuss your act plus more
surprises.
